There is not nearly enough cynicism available on the www these days.  I have pounced onto the information superhighway, albeit a
little late to the party.  With so many ahead of me who have actual talent, I intend to stay behind the leaders and draft.
That puts me in the slipstream and I am not so much here to protect.  I am here to serve, baby.
March 6, 2007                                                My Niece's Wedding

Above is Camie last Friday in California. It was the day of her wedding to Eric, who we welcome to the family with open arms. The
happiness you see in that smile carried the entire weekend. It was a joyous time and we were thrilled to be included in the
celebration. Five days of California winter weather did not hurt my disposition any either.

If this little film doesn't make you laugh, you need help.
For the record...I laughed and need help anyway.

March 19, 2007                                                    Spring Back

I was always interested in taking photographs. Mostly I never had the money or the time to learn about how to do
it well. That is not a regret. It is simply an observation. Hindsight can allow significant clarity if you allow it. I took a
few good ones even when I had no idea why. It comes down to choices we make. I chose to do other things with
the limited time and disposable income that I had. Above you see the main choices I made.

I took this photo nearly 23 years ago of my wife and my son. It remains one of my favorites, even still.

I made good choices then...for me.  It is an enormously satisfying feeling to realize that.

Look at the light in this photograph...and are they not so beautiful that you want to cry?

They still are.
   March 23, 2006                                                          Gone Shopping

The photographer deserves credit, but I do not know who took it.

I received it in an email.

It was important enough to me...to let you see it.

This makes my heart hurt.
